In the game of Mafia, participants find themselves in a fictitious town split into two camps: civilians and mafiosi. The civilians must deduce which players are part of the mafia, while the mafiosi aim to eliminate their adversaries whilst keeping their own identity hidden.
The gameplay revolves around detective work and strategy. Players must use their deductive skills to identify suspects and employ tactics to successfully eliminate them. With a variety of roles available, each player can find their niche and make the most of their abilities.
How to play
First, determine how many players will participate in the game. Then, make a list of all the players. When it's nighttime, players should pass the device amongst themselves. Communication between players is not allowed during this time, so it's a good idea to wear a mask or blindfold and keep your eyes closed. When it's your turn, you can remove the mask and perform an action, such as 'killing' another player, by tapping the 'Continue' button. After completing your action, pass the device to the next player. During the day, remove your masks and place your devices on the table, making sure that all players can see the screens. Look at who was 'killed' during the night. Then begin a discussion and hold a vote, passing the device from player to player. Players who have been 'killed' cannot participate in the discussion or voting. The game doesn't require a host to be played.
