About game
Calcudoku. Mathematical Sudoku is an exciting puzzle that merges the logic of Sudoku with arithmetic problems. The task is to place numbers in the grid so that each row and column contains unique values, while the numbers within outlined areas («cages») must yield a specific result when the given arithmetic operation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) is applied.
The game features grids ranging from 3×3 to 9×9 and three levels of complexity — for beginners, intermediates, and experts. This makes it suitable for both kids and seasoned fans of numerical puzzles.
How to play
Enter numbers into the grid ensuring each number appears just once in every row and column. The grid is partitioned into areas called "cages," outlined by thick lines. In the corner of each cage, you'll find an arithmetic goal along with an operation symbol (+, −, ×, ÷). The digits within a cage must meet this condition: for example, "6+" indicates the sum is 6, "12×" means the product is 12, "3÷" signifies the larger number divided by the smaller equals 3, and "2−" shows the difference between the numbers is 2. Cages with a single cell already contain their numbers.
Use the "Notes" button to jot down possible numbers in empty cells, especially useful for challenging puzzles. Errors are highlighted, and making three mistakes ends the game. Hints, which can be earned by watching ads, help reveal the right value in a selected cell. A timer records your solving time.
Start by selecting the grid size (from 3×3 to 9×9) and the difficulty level.
