In Codex: The Last Summoner, you take on the role of a dark summoner who confronts monsters, demons, and other malevolent entities using potent runes and age-old incantations. This game fuses roguelite, action RPG, and dark fantasy genres.
Your hero doesn't engage enemies head-on; instead, they conjure dark servants by inputting rune sequences. Each summoned ally engages in battle alongside you, assaulting foes and bolstering your forces with distinctive spells.
As you progress through each playthrough, vanquish enemies, gather resources, enhance your summoner's abilities, and unlock new servants. The longer you stay in the world, the more formidable your adversaries become.
Hurry back to the temple, upgrade your sanctuary, discover new allies, and prepare for the next challenge. Forge a mighty army, withstand enemy onslaughts, and vanquish the encroaching evil.
How to play
Controls On mobile devices, operate using the touch controls and the summoning interface. For computers, use the mouse, keyboard, and rune buttons on the screen. To summon servants, enter rune combinations with keys 1, 2, 3, and 4, or tap the rune icons on the screen. See all unlocked combinations in the Codex, located in the top right corner. Objectives Survive each round and vanquish the enemies that appear. Gather resources from the monsters you defeat, then head back to the temple to unlock new servants and enhance your sanctuary. Don't rush to face the boss right away. Build up your army, strengthen your abilities, and prepare for the ultimate showdown. Overcome the dark forces by casting powerful summons and using the right rune combinations.Game info
