In the village of Tikhiy Log, a rift opens up once a century, emitting an eerie glow. Lada ventured into it three days ago, and now her brother Velim, the blacksmith, follows suit with their father's lantern and a rope in hand.
Deep Rope is an atmospheric survival-roguelite game reminiscent of Limbo:
- 10 diverse biomes from the initial crack to the core's depths;
- encounters with 10 distinct bosses;
- companionship of 7 creatures offering passive advantages;
- 19 story fragments piecing together the tale;
- 4 possible endings (one concealed).
Between expeditions, the camp provides: enhancements from the blacksmith, potions from the alchemist, shortcuts from the cartographer, insights from the wanderer.
The further down you go, the more the darkness engulfs you, blurring the line between reality and illusion.

GAMEPLAY:
Velim is hanging on a rope. Release it to fall and land on a platform. Landing deals damage to nearby enemies.
If you fly through a moth mid-fall, you’ll ram into it without taking damage.
The further down you go, the more crystals you’ll collect. If you die, the rope will pull you back to camp, but the crystals will remain.
In camp, you can upgrade your equipment, drink potions, and unlock fast travel to deeper biomes.
