In Megatanks they strike!, you take on the role of a tank commander with a cartoon-style vehicle. Your mission is to clear different environments of enemy forces.
Each environment contains missions full of hostile tanks and peculiar anomalies, such as creatures reminiscent of Pac-Man, birds, and boxers. At the end of every biome, you'll encounter a distinctive boss!
Throughout the game, you can acquire new tanks with in-game currency and improve them by bolstering their armour and boosting their firepower.
To access a new biome, you must purchase the appropriate tank and upgrade it to the necessary rank. Details on the required tank and rank can be found in the main menu under «Missions» — simply click on the biome's image.
Additionally, the game provides power-ups that can be earned by watching rewarded ads, giving you a significant edge over your adversaries.
How to play
In Megatanks they strike!, your primary objective is to free all the biomes. **Controls for desktop:** * Fire: click the left mouse button or press the Spacebar. * Move: use the left/right arrow keys or A/D keys. * Adjust the cannon angle: use the up/down arrow keys, W/S keys, or scroll the mouse wheel. **Controls for mobile devices:** * To shoot: tap the designated button on the screen. * To move: press and hold on the left side of the screen, then slide your finger left or right. * To adjust the cannon: press and hold on the right side of the screen, then slide your finger up or down. **Additional actions:** * Activate a boost using the buttons on the right side of the screen. * Access the menu by tapping the button in the top-left corner. * Buy and upgrade tanks in the «Garage» section.
