Number Tiles is a soothing logic game influenced by the Japanese Shikaku. The playing field has cells with numbers. You need to paint one rectangular area from each number: it should include that number, cover exactly the number of cells indicated, and not overlap other areas.
At the beginning, the levels are simple and help you understand the mechanics quickly. As you progress, the boards become larger, with more intricate and surprising shapes, demanding greater attention. If a move doesn't work out, you can redo the area or try a different shape. If you get stuck, a hint will show you one correct fragment.
Complete levels, collect stars, and track your progress on the leaderboard. This game is perfect for quick breaks and for those who appreciate neat numerical puzzles without distractions.
How to play
In Number Tiles, each level presents you with a grid of numbers. To play, select a cell and drag to another to create a rectangular area. The selected area will remain on the board if it contains exactly one number and its size matches that number.
Your task is to fill all available cells with correctly sized areas. Each area should include only one number, stay within the grid, and not overlap other areas. For instance, the number 6 can be represented as a 1x6, 2x3, 3x2, or 6x1 area, provided the shape fits the grid and doesn't touch other numbers.
If a move doesn't work, try a different shape. You can redraw existing areas. A hint will automatically show one unsolved fragment if you need assistance.
Once all cells are correctly filled, the level is completed. You'll earn stars and proceed to the next puzzle.
