About game

Short Backgammon is a two-player board game. It's played on a special board split in half. The origins of this game are unclear, but it's been around for over 5,000 years, with evidence dating back to 3000 BC in Iran. A similar game was found in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankamen. Even though the rules of Backgammon are easy to learn, winning requires logical thinking and a bit of luck. The game includes a unique board, 30 pieces in two colors, and two dice. You can play against the computer, with a friend on the same device, or with someone online in multiplayer mode.

How to play

The objective of the game is to move all fifteen pieces into the home board and then bear them off the board before your opponent does the same. Players take turns rolling dice and moving their pieces based on the roll, navigating them around the board, into their home section and then off the board. The numbers you roll on each die indicate how many steps you need to move your pieces. Pieces always move from higher-numbered spaces to lower-numbered ones. There are some important rules: - Pieces can only move to empty spaces, not ones that already have two or more pieces of the opposite color. - Each die roll is a separate move. - If you roll doubles, you get to make four moves, using each number from both dice. Once a player has moved all their pieces to their home board, they can start removing them from the game. The first player to remove all their pieces from the board wins the game.
