About game
In Lords of the Realm 2, you step into the shoes of a monarch in a medieval world. You must govern your territories, gather resources, impose taxes, tend to your subjects' needs, construct armies, and prepare for conflicts.
Each choice has consequences: heavy taxation might stir unrest among your people, a lack of food could cripple your regions, and insufficient military strength can make you an easy target for rivals. Drill your soldiers, protect your lands, lay siege to castles, and extend your influence throughout the realm.
The game merges domain administration, economic management, diplomatic relations, and strategic combat. Triumph goes to the leader who can maintain domestic stability and emerge victorious on the battlefield.
How to play
Pick a name and crest for your ruler, and take the reins of your domain. On the game map, choose regions and task peasants with farming, collecting resources, and making weapons. Keep an eye on your food stocks, taxes, people’s morale, and military might. A thriving kingdom requires resources, inhabitants, and a solid economy. Efficiently run lands can sustain bigger armies and speed up your expansion. Raise an army, maneuver it across the map, and assault enemy lands. In combat, direct your troops, take advantage of the terrain, and vanquish the foe before they overpower you.
